Redmine
Redmine is a flexible project management web application. Written using the Ruby on Rails framework, it is cross-platform and cross-database.
Installation on Slackware 14
- cd ~/Downloads/
 - cp redmine-2.6.1.tar.gz /tmp/
 - cd /tmp/
 - tar xvzf redmine-2.6.1.tar.gz
 - cd redmine-2.6.1
 - mysql -p
 mysql> create database redmine;
mysql> create user 'redmine'@'%' identified by '?????????????';
mysql> GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON redmine.* TO 'redmine'@'%' WITH GRANT OPTION;
mysql> exit;
- cp config/database.yml.example config/database.yml
 - nano config/database.yml # put the credentials for mysql ....
